Michigan House District 039

This district covers part of Oakland County, primarily Commerce Township and a large part of the City of West Bloomfield. It is considered one of the most competitive districts in the state and was won by a Democrat for the first time in 2008. It remains to be seen whether the Reepublicans will produce a viable candidate in 2010 to challenge the incumbent, Lisa Brown.
