Gretchen Whitmer

State Senator Gretchen Whitmer is a Democratic Party politician and attorney from East Lansing. She is a former Representative of the 69th District and the current State Senator in the 23rd district. She is one of the few senators eligible for re-election in 2010, and after announcing her withdrawal as a candidate for Attorney General on Jan. 20, 2010, she will run for re-election to her Senate seat.
